Computer Vision MLE - Senior

Role Overview

Mercor is seeking a senior computer vision MLE to work on a contract basis, remotely, for 3-4 weeks, 20+ hours/week. The role involves benchmarking baseline model performance, measuring accuracy, and evaluating the realistic performance ceiling of a computer vision system.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will be responsible for benchmarking baseline model performance, measuring accuracy against a held-out set, assessing data quality, and translating findings into a decision-grade report for a non-technical executive audience.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in computer vision and ML engineering, with a strong evaluation discipline in representative sampling and accuracy benchmarking. Experience with authentication, counterfeit, or anomaly detection is also preferred.
