Job Description Summary
We are looking for a skilled Account Manager to manage the company’s relationships with its Industrial clients in TX, OK, LA, MS, and AL. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships within key accounts from the operational level through the C Suite The idea candidate will be adept in helping to develop solutions for the Industrial customers and selling GE’s value proposition that best meets their needs.Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Function as the key point of contact for relationships both internally and externally, from field personnel through to the executive team.
- Function as the key point of contact for relationships both internally and externally, from field personnel through to the executive team.
- Serve as a conduit for detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how GE’s products and services deliver added value to the customer
- Develop and lead the specific account strategy for these key accounts, focused on maintaining existing business and growing our footprint across the Grid Solutions portfolio.
- Manage multiple sales channels, facilitate support from the business to enable channels to generate Prospect, qualify and develop sales leads on target market segments.
- Identify prospects and create new sales opportunities.
- Meet and/or exceed annual commercial order intake and margin targets
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience Years of direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in electrical/ Industrial Market sales or product business role
- Experience developing and executing successful growth strategies
- Ability to interact & function cooperatively with multiple stakeholders and customers
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills
