What you’ll be doing:

• Define and evolve the technical architecture for Caseware’s AI platform, following

architectural standards, contracts, and design principles that enable scalable,

secure, reusable, and trustworthy AI capabilities across multiple teams.

• Design, build, and operate AI systems powered by LLMs, retrieval pipelines, agentic

workflows, and AI-enabled services, including multi-agent systems, agent

execution runtimes, workflow orchestration, memory management, and human-inthe-loop AI capabilities.

• Design and implement evaluation, governance, auditability, and traceability

frameworks that ensure AI systems are measurable, explainable, compliant, and

continuously improving.

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, frameworks, and cloud capabilities.

• Balance delivery speed, quality, maintainability, and long-term platform health

when making technical decisions.

• Drive reliability, observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices

across AI systems and platforms.

• Ensure systems are resilient, scalable, cost-effective, and operationally efficient in

production environments.

• Partner closely with Product, QA, Security, Domain SMEs, and Engineering teams to

deliver business value.

• Act as a trusted software engineer, helping teams succeed through collaboration,

influence, and shared ownership.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated

impact beyond a single team

• 2+ years building and operating production AI systems.

• Proven experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native, multi-tenant

platforms at scale.

• Proven experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native, multi-tenant

platforms at scale.

• Experience implementing AI guardrails, governance controls, and safety

mechanisms.

• Strong understanding of AI system tradeoffs including latency, cost, accuracy,

reliability, and scalability.

• Experience building and operating production systems on AWS.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.

• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions across

teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.

• Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and evolving

requirements.

• Strong English language communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience operating systems in regulated or compliance-heavy domains.

• Familiarity with accounting, auditing, or financial workflows.
