Independent Contractor – Telehealth VA/Senior to Advanced Level (Remote).
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
We are seeking a full-time Bilingual Patient Care Coordination Virtual Assistant to support patient scheduling, communication, medical coordination, and administrative operations for a growing healthcare practice specializing in preoperative medical clearances.
The ideal candidate has experience working in a healthcare or medical office environment, communicates fluently in both English and Spanish, and understands the importance of professionalism, accuracy, and compassionate patient care. This is a long-term opportunity for a dependable Virtual Assistant who will become an important extension of the clinical team.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
Patient Care Coordination
- Answer inbound patient phone calls in both English and Spanish.
- Coordinate patient intake and appointment scheduling.
- Assist patients with appointment preparation and follow-up instructions.
- Coordinate laboratory orders and diagnostic testing.
- Guide patients through the preoperative medical clearance process.
- Escalate clinical questions appropriately to healthcare providers.
Medical Administrative Support
- Prepare physician notes and supporting documentation.
- Fax medical records and clinical documentation.
- Coordinate communication with referring providers and healthcare partners.
- Maintain accurate patient records within practice systems.
- Update patient information and appointment statuses.
Communication & Workflow Management
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and partner organizations.
- Monitor and respond to email communications promptly.
- Manage multiple administrative workflows while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
- Coordinate effectively across providers and departments.
General Administrative Support
- Maintain organized and accurate patient documentation.
- Assist with general operational and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies at all times.
- Support continuous improvement of office workflows and the overall patient experience.
