We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data team. If you are passionate about solving data integration challenges and developing reliable and low-maintenance data pipelines using the latest modern technologies, join RSI data journey!

You will play a crucial role in keeping our Data Warehouse architecture scalable and secure - maintaining and advancing the reliability, observability, and security of our Snowflake environment and tools we use. Your main focus will be on developing and configuring our Data platform, data integrations and helping to improve it further. You will be working with other data engineers, analytics engineers, and ultimately analysts across the business as we continue to grow and enter new markets.

Our current Data Warehouse tech stack: Snowflake, AWS, Python, Airflow, DBT.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and enhance the Snowflake data platform and data pipelines, leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Drive innovation by adopting modern engineering practices, AI-assisted development, and automation to continuously improve the data platform and accelerate delivery.
  • Design, build, and optimize incremental data integration pipelines with a strong focus on data quality, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain data security controls, support audit and compliance requirements, and monitor platform usage and costs.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Warehousing/Database administration/Database development.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer using SQL and Python.
  • Experience with a cloud-based tech stack on platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure (docker or Kubernetes).
  • Experience working with high volumes of data (with tooling like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, DataBricks, Iceberg or similar modern column-store solution).
  • Operational experience administering Snowflake (or comparable cloud data warehouse) at scale: resource monitors, warehouse sizing, RBAC, network policies, and query performance analysis.
  • Knows what it takes to produce high-quality, high-performance, maintainable and scalable data pipelines.
  • Broad skills using ELT tools and data integration-related technologies (Airflow, DBT, python, S3, REST-API).
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cortex, or similar) in day-to-day development workflows.
  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset, willing to try and learn new technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones.
