Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the development, automation, and operation of cloud-based platforms for a customer in the financial services sector.

In this role, you will work with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines to build, maintain, and improve secure, scalable, and reliable environments. You will collaborate closely with development teams to automate deployments, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve platform operations.

Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Engineering: Build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance

Kubernetes Platform Operations: Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments to support business-critical applications

CI/CD & GitOps Automation: Develop and enhance delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Workflows, and GitOps practices

Infrastructure as Code: Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform

Networking & Platform Services: Configure and troubleshoot networking components, including NGINX and Traefik, to ensure secure and efficient traffic management

Observability & Incident Management: Monitor platform health, improve observability, and investigate infrastructure and deployment issues

DevOps & Reliability Best Practices: Apply security, automation, and operational best practices to improve platform stability and resilience

Engineering Collaboration: Partner with development teams and platform engineers to continuously improve application delivery, systems, and infrastructure

Qualifications

Must have

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Workflows, and GitOps.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including NGINX, Traefik, TCP/IP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring and observability.
• Good understanding of Linux systems.
• Understanding of security best practices and platform quality.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to improve existing systems and apply DevOps best practices.
• Strong collaboration and customer-oriented mindset.
• Good English communication skills.
• Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes.
