Business Development Manager – DEX

Location: Remote / Global

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive the adoption and growth of our decentralized exchange (DEX). In this role, you will build strategic partnerships, promote our API solutions, and enable seamless integrations across the DeFi ecosystem. You will be responsible for expanding our global footprint by onboarding institutional partners, market makers, trading firms, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to drive trading volume and liquidity.

This is a high-impact, externally focused role where you will own relationships end-to-end—from initial outreach to negotiation, onboarding, and long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and close partnerships with VCs, market makers, hedge funds, quant firms, wallets, DeFi protocols, AI agent platforms, and other strategic partners to enhance liquidity and drive adoption.
  • Business Expansion: Lead the institutional growth strategy, bringing in meaningful trading volume through both new and existing relationships.
  • API & Ecosystem Growth: Actively promote our DEX API solutions, developing customized value propositions that align with partner needs.
  • Deal Execution: Manage the full partnership lifecycle—from sourcing and negotiation to onboarding and long-term relationship management.
  • Market Intelligence: Proactively monitor emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and user demand to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to align BD efforts with the product roadmap and campaign initiatives.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at crypto conferences, investor roundtables, and institutional meetups to promote brand visibility and strengthen industry ties.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in business development, partnerships, or institutional sales within CEX/DEX, prime brokerage, hedge fund, or market maker environments.
  • Network: Strong network across VCs, market makers, funds, quant firms, and institutional trading partners.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to close high-value institutional deals and deliver measurable trading volume.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly results-driven with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of crypto market structure, perpetual DEX models, and institutional trading dynamics.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages is a strong plus.
