Role Overview
The Engineering / Installation Technician will perform hands-on installation, cabling, integration, and testing activities associated with the deployment of new cooperative, non-cooperative, and integrated surveillance systems at FAA facilities nationwide. This role is central to the successful physical installation and startup of cooperative and integrated non-cooperative/cooperative radar systems.
What You Will Do
Perform field installation and integration activities for cooperative, non-cooperative, and integrated surveillance systems, including Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast (ADS-B). Support logistics and mobilization activities, including receipt, staging, distribution, and handling of equipment and materials.

Requirements
- High school diploma or technical training equivalent
- 2-4 years of demonstrated experience performing field installation of electronic, communications, radar, or similar complex technical systems
- Hands-on experience with equipment installation, rack mounting, structured cabling, power cabling, and grounding systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and method of procedures (MOPs)
- US Citizenship to successfully complete a government investigation
