Job Title: Javanese Language Expert

Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Translate and localize documents, content, and communications to and from Javanese with cultural and contextual accuracy.
  2. Conduct linguistic reviews and quality assurance to maintain the highest standards of language use.
  3. Support cross-functional teams by providing expert advice on Javanese language nuances.
  4. Develop, edit, and proofread written materials in Javanese for various projects.
  5. Participate in the creation of glossaries, style guides, and best practices for Javanese language projects.
  6. Deliver clear verbal and written communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Collaborate remotely with global team members, ensuring smooth communication and project progression.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Fluency and native-level proficiency in Javanese, with a strong grasp of regional dialects and variations.
  2. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Javanese and English.
  3. Demonstrated experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance.
  4. Deep cultural understanding and sensitivity specific to Javanese-speaking communities.
  5. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  7. Proficient in using digital collaboration tools and language software.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Formal education in linguistics, translation, or related fields.
  2. Experience supporting language or localization initiatives in a professional setting.
  3. Familiarity with project management tools and agile methodologies.
