Mission

As a Junior Manual QA Engineer, your mission is to help ensure the delivery of high-quality software by executing manual tests, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will contribute to improving product quality while learning QA best practices, and behavior-driven development (BDD) using Cucumber.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and user stories to provide meaningful feedback from a quality perspective.
• Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute manual test cases and report test results accurately.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
• Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure application stability.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure product quality.
• Create, review, and maintain Cucumber (Gherkin) scenarios to support Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Contribute ideas to improve QA processes, test documentation, and overall testing efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Any QA experience (Internships, academic projects, or personal projects related to software testing) is considered a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML, REST APIs, or web technologies is considered an advantage.
• Understanding of software testing concepts, test case design, and defect reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
