Description:

• Lead the technical roadmap for ML/AI capabilities in a retail analytics platform.
• Oversee development of GenAI-powered agents and copilots in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Set technical standards for model development and MLOps across the data science organization.
• Mentor and manage a distributed team of data scientists in China and Poland.
• Translate retail business problems into data science solutions and present strategies to leadership.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in data science or applied ML, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in deploying production ML models at scale, particularly in retail/CPG contexts.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
