Description:
- Seeking a Senior Security Controls Assessor (SCA) to support a federal contract.
- Responsible for independent assessments of complex information systems, applications, and cloud infrastructures.
- Focus on verifying the implementation and effectiveness of security controls.
- Serve as a mentor to junior assessors and advisor during the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience.
- Security+ certification; higher certifications (CISSP, CAP, CASP) desired.
- 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or IT auditing.
- 6 years of hands-on experience with complex security controls assessments.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background investigation.
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and interpersonal skills.
