Description:

Join Routescanner as a Senior Backend Engineer to build and evolve a distributed microservices backend.
Work on route optimization, schedule ingestion, geo-routing, and carrier data at scale on AWS.

Requirements:

5+ years of backend development experience in Java and/or Kotlin.
Fluent in Polish and English.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS/DynamoDB).
Proficient in Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and writing clean, maintainable code.
Ability to self-direct and solve loosely defined problems.
Strong plus: Kotlin experience, message brokers, observability tools, logistics background, third-party API integration, AI-assisted development tools.
