Description:

• Design and maintain scalable batch and near-real-time data pipelines across various systems.
• Create clean, reusable data models for core entities.
• Implement data validation, lineage, observability, and automated quality checks.
• Partner with teams to deliver self-service datasets and well-documented data marts.
• Optimize performance and manage infrastructure costs.
• Apply data governance and security practices.
• Build robust ingestion patterns for various data sources.
• Utilize DevOps practices for data pipelines and transformations.
• Troubleshoot data incidents and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Mentor junior team members and establish engineering standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong Python programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience with modern data warehouses or lakehouse platforms.
• Proven ability to build reliable ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Understanding of data quality, schema evolution, and monitoring.
• Experience designing data models for BI and analytics.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and Git-based workflows.
• Strong communication skills for translating business requirements.
