If residing within commutable distance to one of our offices, a hybrid schedule would be required (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).  Candidates within commutable distance are preferred, but those outside of commutable distance (but still residing in Australia) may be considered on a remote basis. SUMMARY

The Senior Digital Learning Specialist leads the design, development and quality assurance of innovative, impactful digital learning solutions that drive performance improvement and learner engagement. This role partners with stakeholders to design and deliver strategic digital learning initiatives, leveraging instructional design expertise, advanced technology and data-driven approaches to meet organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Design & Development

  • Design and develop complex, innovative and scalable digital learning solutions, including eLearning modules, interactive SCORM packages, digital performance support resources, video-based learning and assessment experiences.
  • Lead the end-to-end eLearning design process, from analysis and storyboard development through build, review, quality assurance and final publishing.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of digital learning experiences that support self-paced, technology-enabled learning.
  • Lead collaboration with subject matter experts to translate business requirements and source material into clear, engaging and instructionally sound digital learning content.
  • Champion accessibility, inclusivity and learner-centered approaches across all digital learning materials.
  • Define, implement and continuously evolve eLearning design standards, templates, reusable assets and best-practice guidance across the design team to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Apply generative AI to enhance learning design, development workflows and team capability.

Testing, Quality Assurance & LMS Readiness

  • Conduct comprehensive functional, instructional and visual quality assurance of eLearning products after completion of design and development.
  • Ensure Learning content is instructionally sound, functionally accurate, accessible and consistent.
  • Ensure all internally developed content is SCORM/xAPI compliant and performs effectively across supported platforms, browsers and devices.
  • Provide final design authority and quality sign-off for complex digital learning solutions, ensuring alignment with standards and business objectives.
  • Ensure digital learning packages, completion requirements, assessments and supporting assets are fully prepared for LMS configuration, testing and deployment, retaining end-to-end ownership of quality, deployment readiness and design integrity.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify eLearning needs and align solutions with strategic goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for key eLearning projects, providing insights and guidance on learning strategy and digital solution design.
