Description:

• Join Synthesia as a Senior Software Engineer on the Design System team, co-owning the shared UI foundation for all products.
• Focus on creating an AI-friendly design system that facilitates effortless UI production for both humans and AI.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, with 3 years at a senior level, specifically in frontend platforms and design systems.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and strong React skills; familiarity with modern build tooling.
• Strong command of component API design and developer experience for shared libraries.
• Experience or interest in making component libraries consumable by AI.
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance.
• Ability to build accessible components meeting WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for enhancing developer productivity and user experience.
