Description:
- ButterflyMX is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to enhance application security throughout the software development lifecycle.
- The role involves threat modeling, secure code review, penetration testing, and vulnerability management, reporting directly to the CISO.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in application security with proficiency in secure development practices and offensive testing.
- Strong understanding of web application and API security fundamentals, experience with SAST/DAST/SCA tools, and fluency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience in penetration testing, familiarity with cloud security (AWS preferred), and excellent communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (OSCP, GWAPT, etc.) and experience leveraging AI tools for security tasks are a plus.
