Description:

• Full lifecycle ownership of architecture, solution design, development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of 300+ RESTful microservices.
• Manage a team of ~5 developers, including conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, and team improvement.
• Actively contribute code and complete tasks personally, not just delegate work.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding/architecture best practices, and provide actionable feedback.
• Mentor team members, support their development, conduct developer interviews, and promote the use of AI coding assistants.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience leading developer teams and software projects.
• 5+ years of modern Java programming experience with a focus on clean code and best practices.
• Solid understanding of microservice architectures and AWS services (e.g., ECS, SQS/SNS, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Spring technologies, including Spring Boot (preferably Spring Cloud).
• Excellent communication skills, ability to clarify business needs, and experience with AI coding tools is a bonus.
