Location

Rapid City, South Dakota, with flexible in-office, hybrid, or fully remote options for the right attorney licensed in South Dakota.

Note

This role requires active South Dakota Bar licensure and at least 2 years of directly relevant transactional law experience.

Job Description

  • Handle a broad range of transactional matters including estate planning, probate, trusts, business formation, and real estate transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and governing documents
  • Advise individuals and businesses on legal strategy and risk management
  • Manage matters independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff
  • Build trusted client relationships and contribute to firm growth
  • Participate in shaping practice direction and long-term opportunities within the firm

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in South Dakota
  • 2+ years of transactional law experience
  • Strong drafting, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
  • Client-focused mindset with sound judgment
