Description

Join Our Research Voices Group and help shape the future of palliative and end-of-life care.

At Marie Curie, we believe that the voices of people with lived experience should guide research, policy, and services across the UK. Our Research Voices Group, established in 2013, ensures that care reflects real-life needs and priorities.

By sharing your experience of living with a life-limiting illness, caring for someone who is, or coping with bereavement, you can make a real difference.

Availability: Flexible to suit your schedule

Location: Home-Based

As a Research Voices Group volunteer, you’ll attend online meetings every two months, with the option to join occasional in-person sessions in London. You’ll review research proposals and help influence which projects receive funding, provide feedback on research topics and summaries, and share your views to ensure clarity and relevance. You’ll also collaborate on research projects to help shape national care standards. If you wish, you can take part in speaking at events and share your personal story to strengthen campaigns and raise awareness.
