Description:

• Join Wellhub as a Director Software Engineer in Brazil, leading the engineering structure for growth initiatives in a remote position.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the strategic direction of the B2B experience, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing and mentoring high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong architectural background with experience in designing and scaling complex, distributed systems and modern web applications.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and leading collaboration between frontend and backend teams.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Proficient in one or more backend languages (e.g., Java, Ruby, Go, C++); Golang experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and experience leading globally distributed teams.
