The Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at ControlUp, you aren't just making dials—you are the engine driving our revenue growth in the DACH region. You will become a specialist in the tech-sales craft: deeply researching high-value prospects, discovering critical IT pain points, and opening doors with key influencers and decision-makers.
By masterfully fueling our pipeline, you allow our Account Executive team to focus exclusively on closing deals, directly increasing the overall productivity and scale of the entire sales organization.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Follow an established and successful sales process combined with weekly coaching
- Setting quality meetings with IT departments across the country
- Play an integral role in building our sales pipeline and our business!
- Participate in a mix of classroom-style learning as well as role-plays and practice in the SDR training program at ControlUp
- Learn to generate qualified leads, prospect via a mix of personal communication methods, such as emails and cold calls, and establish the value of our platform
- Engage with a prospect, build rapport and find your prospects’ needs
- Demonstrate mastery of skills at this level by exceeding quota for two quarters in a row
Your Experience and Qualifications
- 1+ years of SDR or BDR experience, previous work with SaaS Sales preferred
- Experience with engaging with potential customers over email, phone, and in-person
- Knowledge of our sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and Zoominfo is a plus
- Clear, concise, and accurate in your communications, both written and verbally
- Fast learning skills and passion for new technologies, quickly mapping them to business processes
- Effectively manage your time to complete objectives
- Experience being accountable to metrics, often exceeding them
- Thrive in a high-energy team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in German (C2 level or equivalent mastery), Fluent in English (other languages are a plus!)
