Description:

• Join TrashLab, the operating system for waste haulers, to transform waste fleet operations.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services for vehicle tracking, route optimization, billing, and dispatch.
• Ensure reliability and observability of the platform with monitoring and alerting practices.
• Model and evolve Postgres schema and manage integrations with third-party systems.
• Collaborate with the founding team to shape long-term backend architecture decisions.

Requirements:

• Strong backend fundamentals with experience in production Node.js services, API design, and database performance.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS or GCP, with knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Terraform.
• Ownership mindset to tackle ambiguous problems and deliver solutions independently.
• Familiarity with operational software and AI multi-agent systems.
